Do you have an old sofa or chair that your dog got a hold of or maybe it's just lacking the freshness it once had? By choosing a new fabric you can create a different look for your sofa. If you choose to refill your cushions they will also feel as comfortable as if they were new.  If you are not ready to reupholster we also make custom slipcovers!

Do you have an old furniture piece that needs a new look or a new color? Our expert refinisher will make your piece look as good as or even better than it did when it was new! We have a variety of finishes to choose from, including the following:

Alana Alegra collections include a variety of oversized, comfortable and luxurious upholstered pieces.  Each piece consists of the following construction:

Frame

Each frame is built a premium alder hardwood; 5/4" thickness or greater.  Corners have braces and joints that are screwed, glued and double doweled for the strongest frame structure possible.

Springs

Each base is webbed with a 3 1/2" woven polyethylene webbing, which prevents stretching.  The tempered wire coil springs include a combination of different tensile strengths to ensure years of comfortable seating.

The springs are eight-way hand tied with the finest Italian ruby twine and covered with 10 oz burlap.

The back consists of light wire no sag springs with extension springs in between and a soft pliable clothe for cover.

Body

The back and arms are padded with high-density foam, covered with premium grade cotton and topped off with a layer of soft Dacron.

Our flounces, seat cushions and back pillows are not cut until the body has been upholstered to ensure correct size and match. 

 Cushions

A variety of choices are available to meet your needs.

•  For the ultimate  luxury - 50/50 white goose down (WGD).

•  For firm but comfortable seating - Foam and WGD blend.

•  For a WGD alternative -  Comforell; a refluffable, non-allergenic down substitute.

Additional WGD blends to choose from:

•  25/75 WGD

•  10/90 WGD

Depending on your preference you may select from the following cushion options:

•  Solid fill.

•  Envelope with spring and WGD blend.

•  Envelope with a foam core.
